Flying Fish Public Market & Grill is located in North Myrtle Beach in the epicenter of shopping and entertainment, Barefoot Landing. An innovative waterfront restaurant that opened in the spring of 2010, they offer a combination of raw bar, local seafood, Low Country Style cooking, steamed seafood and sushi. They are open seven days a week for lunch and dinner. During the season it is advisable to call ahead for reservations as this has become a popular spot for those attending a concert at the House of Blues or a show at the Alabama Theatre right next door. Along with all the other things to see at Barefoot Landing, Flying Fish Public Market & Grill should definitely be on your list of places to go while you are in Myrtle Beach.
The staff of the Flying Fish along with Coastal Scuba, The Human Society of North Myrtle Beach and Barefoot Landing hosted the First Annual North Myrtle Beach Build Your Own Boat Race on March 26, 2011. All the proceeds went to the Humane Society of North Myrtle Beach and the Department of Natural Resources Wildlife and Marine Division. With the great success of the first event we can look forward to future events providing much need funding for these great causes.
